Egyptian Engineer Dina Ayman Makes Forbes List After Microsoft Journey

Under the title "Egyptian Engineer Joins Forbes List After Journey with Microsoft," Sky News reported that several years ago, Dina Ayman was sitting with her father, who tried to persuade her to enroll in medical school. However, she insisted on entering the world of engineering, a decision that changed her life. The young Egyptian had a passion for "Computer and Software Engineering" since childhood, often telling everyone, "I will be in a different place; I love the world of numbers and calculations... I love engineering very much," which indeed came to fruition.

Dina's aspirations were realized beyond expectations, leading to her inclusion in the American magazine Forbes' list of the most influential young personalities in North America in 2021, recognized for her excellence in technology.

**The Beginning**

Dina stated in an interview with Sky News Arabia, "The beginning was an email indicating my nomination for the Forbes ranking among influential figures in North America in the field of technology, alongside about 10,000 others." The Egyptian engineer continued, "The candidates were filtered through several stages until I received another message indicating I had made it to the final stage, and then I was informed of my win."

**Recognition from Egypt**

The Ministry of Migration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs congratulated engineer Dina Ayman after her selection as one of the most influential figures under thirty for her significant role in empowering and supporting women in management and technology fields. Dina shared, "I was very happy when I was selected, especially since there was intense competition with thousands of candidates to be in the final list, alongside being the only Arab woman nominated for 2022."

The Egyptian, chosen among the most influential young figures in North America, emphasized, "I am proud to represent my country, Egypt, which is always in my heart, and to represent all Arab countries. I hope to meet everyone's expectations and continue to advance and raise everyone's flag high."

**Youngest University Professor**

Dina graduated with both bachelor's and master's degrees in computer engineering in the same year and then worked at Intel before joining Microsoft. She is also the youngest professor of computer engineering at Rutgers University in the United States. Dina expressed, "I love engineering a lot, especially technology. When you love something, you always strive to assert your identity and presence in it. I believe there is no difference between men and women in the workplace; what matters is always the focus and proficiency in work."

Regarding her role model, the youngest professor at Rutgers University stated, "Every person who excels in their field is my role model; I feel they are the light that guides me in my life."

**A Unique and Inspirational Model**

Egyptian Minister of Immigration Nabila Makram praised Dina Ayman’s role, noting that women represent only about 7% in her field. She said, "Dina is a unique and inspiring model, and she is a source of pride for Egyptian women abroad, embodying both women's and youth empowerment." Makram added, "The Egyptian girl has achieved several successes in technology and has become influential in American society."

**Dreams Without Limits**

Regarding her future goals, the recently honored engineer noted, "I have many goals, and with God's help, I am achieving them one by one. My goals and dreams never stop, and I always remain optimistic about the good from God, so everyone should strive and stay hopeful."
