Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and the French President: Diplomatic Solutions and Dialogue Strengthen Security and Stability in the Region

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, discussed, during a phone call from Emmanuel Macron, the President of the French Republic, the relations of friendship and cooperation and ways to enhance and develop them for the benefit of both countries and their friendly peoples. They also addressed various regional and international issues of mutual interest.

During the call, His Highness and the French President exchanged views on regional developments, emphasizing the importance of advancing efforts to establish security, peace, and stability in the region through diplomatic solutions and effective dialogue, which fulfill people's aspirations for construction, development, and peaceful coexistence.

The call also covered the updates on the "COVID-19" pandemic in both countries and worldwide, as well as the efforts being made to address it at various levels.

On another note, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call yesterday from Scott Morrison, the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Australia, who expressed his gratitude for the support that the UAE has provided to his country in the evacuation of Australian citizens from Afghanistan, as well as the evacuation of diplomatic missions from several friendly countries. During the call, His Highness and the Australian Prime Minister exchanged views on several issues of common interest.
