On Saturday, Maestro Khaled Fouad passed away at the age of 72 due to a health crisis. His son, Omar Fouad, announced the news of his death through his social media accounts.
Omar Khaled Fouad shared details about the funeral, stating that it would take place after the noon prayer at the cemetery located 5 kilometers past the Ain Sokhna gates. He wrote, "The funeral prayer will be after the noon prayer at the cemetery 5 kilometers past the Ain Sokhna gates. Thank you for your efforts."
Many artists mourned the late maestro, notably Mai Farouk, who sent a heartfelt message on social media saying, "There is no god but Allah. This news is very difficult. Maestro Khaled Fouad is in God's mercy, a person who has done a lot for me, and always brought me joy with his words, encouragement, and prayers until the last call between us. May Allah have mercy on you, my dear, and grant you paradise and its pleasures. Please recite Al-Fatiha and pray for him."
Artist Amal Maher also mourned him via Twitter, stating, "Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him, we shall return. The great maestro Khaled Fouad is in God's mercy. May Allah have mercy on him, forgive him, and make paradise his abode."
Ahmed Fahmy expressed his condolences, saying, "The great maestro Khaled Fouad is in God's mercy. May Allah have mercy on you, Doctor. Your favors have been great for everyone, and I learned a lot from you. May Allah have mercy on you, and grant patience to your family and loved ones."
Additionally, artist Riham Abdel Hakim shared her sadness, stating, "One of the people who encouraged me the most and had a great impact on me. May Allah have mercy on him, forgive him, and grant him spaciousness in His paradise. Please pray for him."
