Talal Mardini Steals Bassam Yakhour's Phone as Revenge

Syrian actor Talal Mardini appeared to the audience via a live broadcast from the mobile phone of artist Bassam Yakhour.

In a humorous manner, Talal Mardini stole Bassam Yakhour's personal phone after they had gathered together for a dinner following their workout. During the live broadcast, Talal stated, "Today I decided to steal Abu Rwai's phone, I’m running away because I've been taking revenge for five years as he has been bullying me on Instagram," adding that he would retaliate against what Yakhour did to him when he mocked him on Instagram, referring to it as: "I decided today to take severe revenge and steal Abu Rwai's phone and run away, we were spending the night together and he chased me and was trying to keep up."

Mardini explained that although he loves Bassam Yakhour, he only stole his phone out of revenge for Yakhour's previous actions, further adding: "True, he is our teacher, our beloved, and my older brother, but for five years, every time I post a picture, he checks my account, and people tag him so he can enter and annoy me. That’s why today I stole his phone to get back at him."

Surprisingly, artist Bassam Yakhour found him and appeared with him in the live broadcast, jokingly saying, "Brother, you’re heavy-handed and slow," adding, "I was walking in Damascus with Abu Tal, he got ahead of me, and I grabbed his mobile." They ended the broadcast affirming the friendly relationship between them and that everything they're doing is in jest, with Mardini emphasizing, "By the way, I must tell you he’s a good man." To which Bassam Yakhour responded, "No one like you, Abu Tal, God knows your love is in my heart."

It is noteworthy that Talal Mardini and Bassam Yakhour faced criticism two days ago when a picture of them smiling and spending time together in the Syrian capital, Damascus, circulated, prompting followers to attack them, considering it inappropriate to show happiness publicly so soon after the passing of director Hatem Ali.
