Mishari Al-Blam's Artistic Journey Remembered by Followers After His Passing

The departure of Kuwaiti artist Mishari Al-Blam has left a state of sadness, expressed by social media users who shared his photos while reminiscing about some milestones in his artistic creativity throughout his career.

Fans began to recall some of the artistic works of the late Kuwaiti star Mishari Al-Blam after the announcement of his death on Thursday evening at the age of 48, due to complications from COVID-19 just a few days earlier. Al-Blam portrayed many complex roles, such as a character suffering from epilepsy in the series "Drob Al-Shak" and a deaf-mute in "Jarh Al-Zaman."

He started his artistic journey in 1991 when he participated in the play "Free Kuwait," performing various roles that were small to medium-sized, until he joined the successful series "Dart Al-Ayam" in 1998, which resulted in him receiving larger roles. He was crowned "Valley Farmer" in the reality TV show "Al-Wadi," which aired on LBC in 2005, winning the audience's vote in the final episode over artist Turki Al-Youssef from Saudi Arabia, player Khalid Al-Ghandour from Egypt, and artist Zahra Al-Kharji.

In the past, Mishari expressed his happiness with the stardom he achieved and the love of the people for him. He is a cousin of actor Hassan Al-Blam and holds a diploma in industrial management from the College of Commercial Studies at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training. He was married and had five children: Saleh, Mariam, Abdullah, Hamad, and Shaikha.

His most notable plays included "Al-Amkashuf" in 1996, "Kulk Nadhar" in 1999, "Dala Banat" in 2001, "Shahr Asal Basal" in 2003, "Oula Awal" in 2008, "Kitab Al-Aja'ib" in 2011, "Al-Wadi Al-Mahjour" in 2013, "Mar Ya Helou" in 2015, and "Shabah Al-Opera" in 2019.

It is worth mentioning that the Kuwaiti artist recently shared a photo receiving his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, but later asked his audience to pray for him as he had contracted the virus and was hospitalized for treatment.
