Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Opens

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, inaugurated "Deep Dive Dubai," the deepest diving pool in the world, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council. The facility has gained recognition in the Guinness World Records for its depth of 60 meters and a capacity of 14 million liters, equivalent to six Olympic-sized swimming pools.

His Highness inspected the components of the facility, which spans an area of 1,500 square meters in the Nad Al Sheba area of Dubai. The innovative design resembles a giant oyster, celebrating the profession of pearl diving, which has been an important aspect of the UAE's rich heritage. This signifies the Emirati people's connection to the sea and the sport of diving. He listened to a briefing about the details of this facility, which is a significant addition to enhance Dubai's position as one of the key destinations on the global tourism map, featuring unique and diverse attractions.

The facility also includes a diving shop and a gift shop, with a restaurant seating 80 persons set to open later this year, alongside multiple areas dedicated to meetings, events, and conferences. The spaces located on the lower levels, whether within the restaurant or other rooms, provide stunning underwater views.
