Coalition: Air Defenses Destroy Explosive Drone Launched Towards Abha Airport

The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced on Saturday that Saudi air defenses successfully intercepted and destroyed an explosive drone launched towards Abha International Airport. The coalition stated, "We are addressing sources of threat to protect civilians and civilian objects from hostile attacks." Earlier, the Coalition had reported the death of 157 Houthi members in 32 targeted operations in Al-Bayda, Al-Jawf, and Sarwah within 24 hours. The coalition announced on Friday that Saudi defenses intercepted a drone attempting to target Khamis Mushait and destroyed another drone trying to target the city of Jazan. It added, "Targeted operations included the destruction of 14 military vehicles and the elimination of over 157 terrorist members." The coalition had also reported on Friday the execution of 29 targeting operations against Houthi militia vehicles and elements in Al-Bayda, Sarwah, and Al-Jawf during the past 24 hours. It noted that these operations included the destruction of 16 military vehicles belonging to the militia and the elimination of 126 terrorist members.
