His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has directed the treatment of the Afghan child, Mohammad Amir Dawood, who is 3 years old and suffering from cancer. This decision comes in swift response to the family's plea, who currently reside in the Emirates Humanitarian City.

Sheikh Mohamed ordered the transfer of the child to the United States for treatment, ensuring all necessary facilities and arrangements are made for his recovery, allowing him to lead a normal life. He was welcomed by Mohammad Mattar Al Marar, Director of the Emirates Humanitarian City, along with several officials.

Sheikh Diab was assured by the medical team at the city regarding the child's condition, who is staying with his family there. He also met with the child's family, reassuring them about the treatment journey in the United States and the completion of the necessary procedures, in compliance with the leadership's directives to provide the required support and care for his health to ensure his swift recovery and return to a normal life among his peers.

Additionally, he spoke with several Afghan families temporarily hosted by the Emirates Humanitarian City, discussing their stay and the services provided to them. The families expressed immense happiness and gratitude to the UAE for the warm hospitality and pleasant living conditions.
