Former President Michel Aoun visited Maronite Patriarch Mar Bshara Boutros Al-Rahi in Bkerke. After the meeting, Aoun stated: "There is an attack on the covenant, the constitution, and unprotected rights; the crisis is significant, and there is no room for open discussion." In response to a question about whether he carries a presidential initiative, Aoun replied: "I am not here for the issue of the presidency."
