Louisa Vinton, the UNDP Resident Representative in Turkey, stated that up to 210 million tons of debris from numerous buildings that collapsed due to the earthquake that struck Turkey in early February need to be removed. She added, "The disposal of this rubble will require an area of seven million square meters. A massive task awaits us."
