WhatsApp has managed to overcome a common usage drawback that forces users to register a phone number in order to message it using their smart device. This new technique, called “Click to Chat,” allows for engaging in chat conversations with anyone or any business without having their contact number saved in the smartphone's address book, provided that an active WhatsApp account exists on both sides. The “Click to Chat” feature works on all tablets, smartphones, and any other computer with the WhatsApp application installed in the browser.
