The Chinese Ministry of Defense confirmed today, Thursday, that the joint naval exercises between China, Iran, and Russia in the Oman Gulf enhance the naval capabilities of the three countries to carry out various maritime missions. Ministry spokesman Tan Kefei mentioned that the exercises strengthened friendship and practical cooperation among the three nations. He added that the three countries sent forces, including 12 ships, special operations units, and diving units to participate in the exercises that took place from March 15 to 19.
