The President of the Lebanese Kataeb Party, MP Sami Gemayel, received a delegation from the "Strong Lebanon Bloc" at the central house in Saifi. The delegation included MPs: Charbel Maroun, Asaad Dergham, and Samar Al-Tom, in the presence of former Minister Dr. Alan Hakim and member of the Political Bureau George Yazbek.
MP Asaad Dergham spoke on behalf of the delegation, thanking the Kataeb Party for their warm reception. He stated, "The meeting was cordial; we discussed various topics and agreed to continue the dialogue, as the exceptional circumstances the country is going through require all of us to sit together and communicate, even if there are differences in viewpoints."
Dergham added: "The current situation in the country and the potential presidential vacancy have necessitated this meeting and these consultations," emphasizing that they will continue to hold such meetings and dialogues to reach common ground agreed upon by both teams and eventually by all Lebanese.
