Saudi Arabia Falters Against Mexico and Exits the World Cup

The Saudi national team lost to Mexico 2-1, dashing hopes of advancing to the Round of 16 in the 22nd FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, on Wednesday evening at Lusail Stadium, in the third and final round of group three matches. Mexico's goals were scored by Henry Martin and Luis Chavez in the 47th and 52nd minutes, while Saudi Arabia's goal was scored by Salem Al-Dosari in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

Saudi Arabia exited the Qatar World Cup with three points from one win and two losses, while Mexico finished with four points and also exited, with Argentina and Poland advancing to the next round.
