Mexico's goals were scored by Henry Martin and Luis Chavez in the 47th and 52nd minutes, while Saudi Arabia's goal was scored by Salem Al-Dosari in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
Saudi Arabia exited the Qatar World Cup with three points from one win and two losses, while Mexico finished with four points and also exited, with Argentina and Poland advancing to the next round.
