The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported an earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale that struck southern Turkey, specifically the province of Kahramanmaraş. According to initial reports, the earthquake was felt in several areas of northern Syria, but damages have not yet been confirmed.
