Flight Operations Halted at Baghdad International Airport

Baghdad International Airport announced on Saturday that flight operations have been halted due to adverse weather conditions. The airport management stated in a message on their Facebook page: "The management of Baghdad International Airport would like to inform all our esteemed passengers and airlines operating at the airport that navigation movement has been stopped due to weather conditions, with visibility reaching less than 200 meters." The statement added, "You will be informed about any developments regarding air traffic at the airport." Meanwhile, the Iraqi Meteorological Authority announced that the country is expected to experience new rainfall, along with anticipated thunderstorms over the upcoming week.
