North Korea Blames the U.S. for "Collapse of Arms Control Systems"

North Korea blamed the United States today for what it described as the "collapse of international arms control systems," stating that "Pyongyang's nuclear weapons are a fair response to ensure peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula." The North Korean Foreign Ministry mentioned in a statement published by the Korean Central News Agency that "the United States, South Korea, and Japan are crossing dangerous thresholds, and there can be no tolerance for that."
