Turkish "Ziraat" Bank to Mediate in Russian Grain Payments

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu announced on Friday that the Turkish Ziraat Bank may mediate in the settlement of Russian grain and fertilizer payments. He added that Ankara is still negotiating with other parties in the grain export agreement via the Black Sea. The agreement, reached with the mediation of the United Nations and Turkey last July, allows for the safe export of Ukrainian grain from its ports on the Black Sea. Moscow asserts that the terms of the agreement regarding the export of its agricultural products are not being met.
