Germany requested Chad's ambassador to leave the country within 48 hours on Tuesday in response to a similar move by the Central African nation. The German Foreign Ministry stated: "In response to the unjustified expulsion of our ambassador in Chad, we summoned Chad's ambassador in Berlin, Mariam Ali Moussa, today and asked her to leave the country within 48 hours. We regret that matters have come to this."
