German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is set to undertake an official visit to three Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia, at the end of the week, in an effort to establish partnerships in the field of energy, government sources reported on Monday. Chancellor's spokesperson Steffen Hebestreit stated during a routine press conference that Scholz will be traveling with a delegation of senior representatives from various economic sectors, visiting Saudi Arabia on Saturday, followed by the United Arab Emirates and Qatar on Sunday, before returning to Berlin in the evening.
