A large fire broke out this evening, Wednesday, at the central headquarters of Zitouna Bank in Tunisia. According to initial data, there are currently no reported human casualties, as confirmed by firefighting teams. Zitouna Bank is a Tunisian commercial Islamic bank specializing in Islamic finance, founded in 2009 by Tunisian businessman Mohamed Sakher Matri. The bank opened to the public in 2010 and is considered the first Tunisian deposit bank to adopt Islamic banking.
