The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed today, Thursday, that "China and Ukraine have agreed on the necessity to continue mutual respect and cooperation that benefits both sides."
The Ministry indicated in a statement that "China has always played a constructive role in alleviating the humanitarian situation in Ukraine in its own way, and will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine within its capacity."
This statement came after a meeting between the Chinese Special Envoy for European and Asian Affairs, Li Huo, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
