Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated today, Thursday, that the Black Sea will not be "a sea belonging to NATO," following calls from the Ukrainian Foreign Minister for the alliance to play a larger security role in the region. Both Russia and Ukraine overlook the Black Sea, as well as Turkey, Bulgaria, and Romania, which are members of the military alliance.
