U.S. Sanctions on Russian Security Service and Iranian Intelligence Unit

U.S. officials announced that the United States imposed sanctions today, Thursday, on the Russian Federal Security Service and a unit of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's intelligence, accusing them of being responsible for or complicit in the unlawful detention of Americans abroad.
