An Egyptian woman requested a divorce from her husband for harm after discovering that he deceived her by claiming to be a doctor, only to find out that he worked as a nurse.
The wife filed a harm divorce case against her husband at the Family Court in Al-Haram, demanding a separation due to the impossibility of living with him after uncovering his deceit and impersonation of a doctor, which was revealed when his true occupation as a nurse came to light.
The wife’s lawyer stated that her client had been subjected to deception and lies by her husband in the early years of their marriage, and she discovered his trick when she went to obtain a family registration, where she learned that her husband was a nurse and not a doctor as he had led her to believe.
The court accepted the harm divorce case filed, and the couple's married life lasted only a year.
