The Mount Lebanon Criminal Court, presided over by Judge Elie El Helou, alongside advisors Rania Rahme and Nour El Hout, and in the presence of a public prosecutor, has issued an in absentia ruling against Dr. Foud. The court sentenced him, along with a group of defendants, to a lifetime of hard labor.
The convicted individuals are:
Kamal Abbas Ramadan, born to Mariam in 1971, of Syrian nationality (currently detained).
- Ahmad Dulf Al Youssef, son of Khadija, of Syrian nationality (sentenced in absentia).
- Abdul Karim Zahir Al Salem, born to Manal in 1992, of Syrian nationality (currently detained).
- Hassan Atiyah Diab, born to Mariam in 1976 (sentenced in absentia).
The defendants (Ahmad Dulf Al Youssef, Abdul Karim Zahir Al Salem, Hassan Atiyah Diab, Mohammad Abdullah Al Ali, and George Hanna Deeb...) have been found guilty under Article 150 of the Narcotics Law.
- They have been sentenced to life imprisonment with hard labor.
- Each has been fined 120 million Lebanese Lira (120,000,000 L.L.).
- The convicted in absentia will be stripped of their civil rights.
