Social media circulated a video showing a scene from the series "The Simpsons" featuring a bank with the Latin letters "Silicon Valley Bank" on its facade. Publishers commented, "The first to predict the bankruptcy of Silicon Valley Bank is the famous American cartoon series The Simpsons." However, it turned out that the claim was false, and the image used in the clip was altered. Searching for the video once split into still scenes leads to the same clip posted on YouTube in 2016, which shows the name "First Bank of Springfield" on the bank's facade. Springfield is the name of the fictional area where the series takes place.
