Ukrainian authorities announced that a 50-year-old man and his 11-year-old daughter were killed when Russian forces shelled a residential building in the city of Zaporizhia in southeastern Ukraine early Sunday morning. The Ukrainian State Emergency Service reported that a 46-year-old woman was pulled from the rubble and identified as the child's mother. City Secretary Anatoly Kurtev mentioned that two rockets destroyed one building and caused damage to dozens of other buildings during the nighttime attack by Russia.
