Closure of Manhattan Court Before Hearing Against Trump Due to "Bomb Threat"

The Hill reported that a court in Manhattan was closed due to a bomb threat as a $250 million lawsuit against former U.S. President Donald Trump was set to begin. The police investigated the threat, closed the court, and conducted a search, later confirming that the "threat was unfounded." The threat emerged as a state civil court judge was preparing to begin the hearing on Trump's case, but court spokesperson Lucian Chalfin stated that there was "no indication that the threat was directly related to Trump's case." The court was closed and searched for about half an hour before proceedings, including Trump's hearing, resumed.
