The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre announced today, Sunday, that a "5.7 magnitude earthquake shook southern Tonga, occurring at a depth of two kilometers. Additionally, a new earthquake was recorded in southern Tonga this evening, measuring 5.6 in magnitude, occurring at a depth of eight kilometers."
