Local officials reported that "at least 5 Russian rockets struck the city of Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine and the surrounding areas late on Saturday night, causing some damage to civilian buildings." The regional governor, Oleh Synehubov, wrote on the application "Telegram" that "one rocket hit a house in the village of Kotliari south of Kharkiv, while another rocket caused a large fire in the city itself."
