Ultramarathon runner Katya Rashid has broken her previous record of 168 kilometers run in 24 hours, which she set at the Asian Championships in India last year. Rashid successfully covered a distance of 201.2 kilometers in one go at the championship in Alberta, Canada, under the supervision of the international and Canadian ultramarathon federations. A total of 37 male and female runners participated in the race, where Rashid secured first place in the women's category and fourth place overall (combined men and women). She crossed the finish line while holding the Lebanese flag. She shared several photos and videos on her Facebook page, especially after achieving this athletic milestone.
