Earthquake with Magnitude 5.2 Strikes Northern Pakistan

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake hit the northern parts of Pakistan on Thursday, with no reports of human or material damage. The Pakistan Meteorological Department and Geological Survey indicated that the epicenter was located at a depth of 170 km in a border area between Afghanistan and Tajikistan. Residents in northern regions of Pakistan, including the capital Islamabad, felt the tremor.
