New Communication Between Saudi and Iranian Foreign Ministers

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) announced that a communication took place between Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian. It noted that "at the beginning of the call, both sides exchanged congratulations and greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr." It added that "during the call, many topics of interest to both countries were discussed, in addition to discussing the next steps in light of what was recently agreed upon with the People's Republic of China."
