From the hospital bed where he spent more than a month, the legend Pele congratulated Argentine team captain Messi after the "Tango dancers" won the World Cup against the French team. The "Black Pearl" wrote on his Instagram account in a post accompanied by a photo of Messi holding the trophy surrounded by his teammates: "Football continues to tell its story, always in a captivating way... Messi won his first World Cup title because his career deserves it." He added, "Congratulations to Argentina. Diego (Maradona) is smiling now."
