Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev stated today, Friday, that more than 117,000 individuals have joined the Russian army since the beginning of 2023, according to the Russian news agency. The agency quoted Medvedev as saying, "According to data from the Ministry of Defense, 117,400 people have been registered in the armed forces from January 1 to May 19."
