Reuters reported today, Tuesday, that "natural gas exports from Russian company Gazprom increased by about 7.5% in April compared to March, due to increased transit through Turkey." The calculations indicated that the average daily exports of Russian gas to Europe via pipelines rose to 75.6 million cubic meters in April from 70.3 million cubic meters in March.
The calculations were based on data from the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas and daily reports from Gazprom on the quantities transported via Ukraine. The data shows that Gazprom's total gas exports through Ukraine and the TurkStream pipeline reached 2.27 billion cubic meters in April. The total gas exports from Gazprom to Europe amounted to 8.14 billion cubic meters since the beginning of the year.
