The Malaysian Ministry of Commerce announced today, Tuesday, that Malaysia and the UAE have agreed to initiate negotiations to reach a comprehensive economic partnership agreement. The ministry stated in a statement that "the agreement will be beneficial for both parties and will include areas of trade in goods and services, as well as investments and economic cooperation."
