Informed sources indicated that the Walt Disney Company will begin, today Monday, a second wave of layoffs, eliminating around seven thousand jobs in order to reduce costs by up to 5.5 billion dollars. With this, the company will have cut a total of four thousand jobs, according to Disney officials. The sources stated that the job reductions will occur across various business sectors within the company, including "Disney Entertainment," "ESPN," and "Disney Parks," but it is not expected to affect hourly workers in the parks and resorts.
