Filming of the American movie "Rust" is set to resume today, Thursday, in Montana, 18 months after cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed by a bullet fired from a gun held by the film's star, Alec Baldwin, during production in New Mexico. The lawyer for the film's production company, Melina Spadoni, announced that filming will continue at the Yellowstone filming location in Montana, designated for American westerns.
In October, Baldwin reached a settlement with the cinematographer's husband, Matt Hutchins, which will allow filming to resume with the same cast and crew, including key actors and director Joel Souza, who was injured in the shooting in 2021. Under the agreement, Hutchins has become an executive producer of the film.
