The Russian-appointed official in charge of the Crimea Peninsula, Sergey Aksyonov, stated on Monday that "Russian air defenses shot down two Ukrainian drones over Crimea." Aksyonov wrote via the Telegram app, saying, "The air defenses shot down one of the drones in the northern part of the peninsula overlooking the Black Sea and the other in the west."
