The Chinese Ministry of Defense stated today, Wednesday, that "China strongly opposes US arms sales to Taiwan and has made severe objections to Washington." Ministry spokesperson Tan Kefei said in a statement, "The United States has ignored China's core concerns, violently interfered in China's internal affairs, and deliberately fueled tensions in the Taiwan Strait."
