The Ukrainian army announced today, Sunday, that Russian forces are evacuating residents from a town near the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, which is occupied by Russia in southern Ukraine. The Ukrainian General Staff indicated that Russian forces are evacuating holders of Russian passports to the city of "Berdiansk" and the town of "Prymorsk," both located on the Sea of Azov coast. They added in a statement, "The first to be evacuated were those who accepted Russian citizenship in the first months of the occupation." The director general of the United Nations' International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, had noted that the situation around the Zaporizhia nuclear plant "could be potentially dangerous."
