Uniper Completes Sale of Marine Fuel Refinery in the UAE

The German company Uniper completed the sale of its oil refinery and marine fuel unit in the UAE on Wednesday to a consortium consisting of Montfort Group and Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum's private office. The completion of the sale by Uniper Energy, which was announced earlier this year, followed the receipt of the necessary regulatory approvals. The deal is part of the European Commission's conditions for the company to receive a bailout package from the German government.
