The U.S. Energy Information Administration raised its expectations for global oil demand growth in 2023 by 170,000 barrels per day to 1.76 million barrels per day. In its monthly forecast, the administration lowered its oil demand growth estimate for 2024 by 60,000 barrels per day to 1.64 million barrels per day.
