It has been learned that a statement will be issued tomorrow by the Supreme Judicial Council announcing the return of all judges (criminal and civil) to their work to address urgent and humanitarian matters. In this context, judicial sources explained that all cases requiring lengthy procedures are not urgent, but matters related to execution departments, public prosecutions, and investigations must be completed as soon as possible. For example, there may be a need to hear testimonies from patients, the elderly, or those preparing to travel, and these testimonies may affect the course of the cases in the event of continued delays.
They emphasized the necessity to resolve all that cannot be postponed. While most judges had commenced a sit-in in all courts and justice palaces due to the targeting of the judges' solidarity fund and their financial gains by the political authority since last June, sources indicated that they have received no guarantees to stop the targeting, only some verbal promises.
