The Chairman of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, decided today, Monday, to relieve Anan Hamid Mohamed Omar from his position as General Director of the Police Forces. A statement issued by the Sovereignty Council stated that Burhan "also decided to assign Khaled Hassan Mohi al-Din with the tasks of General Director of the Police Forces."
