Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated during his visit to the Czech Republic on Friday that "Kyiv needs long-range weapons to confront Russian forces, as without long-range weapons it is not only difficult to carry out an offensive mission but also to conduct a defensive operation." He added, "We are discussing long-range systems with the United States, and it depends only on them at this time." He also called for the commencement of discussions on his country's accession to the European Union this year.
