A federal judge in California has suspended a ruling on a lawsuit accusing Twitter of discriminatory policies against its employees with disabilities by requiring them to work long hours in the office under significant pressure. Judge Haywood Gilliam noted that the plaintiff, former Twitter engineering director Dmitry Borodienko, failed to prove that the policies implemented by the company's CEO Elon Musk negatively impacted workers with disabilities. The judge granted Borodienko three weeks to file an amended complaint with more details. Borodienko mentioned that the company terminated his employment in November when he refused to stop working from home. Meanwhile, the plaintiff’s attorney, Shannon Leis-Reordan, stated that she intends to file an amended complaint presenting new facts, adding: "Elon Musk has shown a disregard for employees with disabilities through his words and actions."
