Leeds United has dismissed its coach Javi Gracia and appointed veteran manager Sam Allardyce in his place.
Leeds United, competing in the English Premier League, announced on Wednesday the dismissal of coach Javi Gracia as the team nears relegation to the second division. They have appointed veteran coach Sam Allardyce until the end of the current season. Leeds is in 17th place with 30 points, just above Nottingham Forest in 18th place on goal difference, with four matches remaining in the season. They will face Manchester City away followed by a home match against Newcastle United.
